What a great, well fought match, with both teams playing very well in their last game of the season which would determine which team would land second place in the league.
Headless Cross Girls played some excellent football in the first half, with a couple of tries at goal just hitting the post.  Unfortunately, Droitwich Spa Ravens managed to score 2 goals in quick succession, which left Headless Cross 2-0 down at half time.
A change of line up, bringing Anna and Grace onto the pitch in the second half, saw Headless Cross Girls battling for a goal.  Anna's persistence eventually paid off with an excellent goal for her.
Daisy was then brought back into play and saw her score another 2 goals bringing Headless Cross into the lead at 3-2.  Missy then went on to score a goal bringing the score line to 4-2. 
After a bit of confusion, the ref awarded Droitwich Spa a free kick which saw them score another goal.
They then went on to score the equalizer.
The last few minutes of the match were very tense but the final whistle blew at a 4-4 draw.
Well done to both teams, some excellent football was played today.
